JMediaLibrary

It has been a long time. But now I am working on the fourth edition of this project (only the second one made it into the public download area). JMediaLibrary is now an Eclipse RCP project and incorporates the Eclipse plugin architecture. Hence JMediaLibrary will provide a framework for plugins which implement a database layer and/or a media layer (of course, plugins are not limited to these cases). Together with the general framework, the project will also provide reference-implementations of a database plugin (using http://www.db4o.com) and two media plugins (for Movies and Books).

Although the framework is not finalized yet, people interested in implementing plugins may check out the sources from CVS.

A first release will hopefully take place in the next months (sorry for the vague timeline).

The first official release of JMediaLibrary::Movie v0.4 is out! There is still a lot of work to do, but constructive critism is always welcome. Check out the new screenshots too!

This is the initial launch of the homepage for the JMediaLibrary::Movie project. It is still in an early stage. The first release of the Movie part of the JMediaLibrary project should hopefully take place in the next few weeks.
